HOW CAN YOU HELP? Siembra NC / Defend and Recruit have put a guide together to hold a postcard writing party - At the link, you will find a Google Document with suggestions and information.
PLEASE NOTE: the document has three tabs - one with a project overview, one with ideas for holding a postcard writing party, and the final tab contains contact info for Destin Hall's contributors.
ICE and CBP have booked arrangements and will be in Wake County and Durham throughout December and everyone in the greater Triangle should be vigilant.
How do we know this? Destin Hall, the Speaker of the NC House of Representatives, told a reporter regarding November arrests by CBP in the Triangle, "It looks like they’re doing a pretty good job at it right now. And so, we don’t have much to ask, other than to come back.”
