This November, it’s going to take all of us to protect free and fair elections, so that WE, the people of North Carolina, get to decide our future. We’ve already seen how people in power in our state and in the White House are trying to silence Black and brown voters, students, working people, and anyone who disagrees with them. Our democracy is under attack but we’re not backing down!
On election day, and on a few other key dates in November, Wake County Indivisible is coming together to exercise and defend our vote and to show those in power that we are watching through supporting our voter protection colleagues:
Tuesday, November 10th: Last day for voters with absentee or provisional ballots to “cure” their ballots and make sure they are counted. We’ll come together in our counties that evening to celebrate historic voter turnout, thank the election officials who are working hard to make our democracy run, and to send a clear message: count every vote.
Monday, November 16th: Join us in the evening for a mass call with partners across the state to hear updates about what happened in the elections and during county certification, and what's next in the movement to protect our vote. We'll also get ready to make our voices heard when the NC General Assembly reconvenes in November.
Tuesday, November 24th: Deadline for the NC State Board of Elections to certify all the NC election results. There will be a peaceful rally between the NC General Assembly and the State Board of Elections on Halifax Mall, in Raleigh, ready to defend our vote.
Help Cure Absentee Ballots with NC Coordinated Campaign
Over 108,235 voters voted by mail this year in North Carolina! Join us to help make sure our votes are heard. We will be calling voters who’ve already voted by mail but whose ballots have been rejected, who need to take a few extra steps to cure their ballot.
Carolina Federation and Down Home are teaming up to host daily ballot cure phonebanks the day after Election Day until the curing period ends.
Phonebanks will begin with a full ballot cure training at the start of the phonebank. Volunteers will need to join the zoom by computer and plan to stay through the full phonebank shift.
