Each Monday evening August 17- November 3rd 6-8pm, head to Raleigh Brewing Company for free pizza and engaging, interactive discussions designed to help young and first-time voters better understand the voting process and feel confident participating in our democracy, including topics such as:

• Registering to vote and where college students should register

• Voter ID requirements and voting options

• What to expect on Election Day

• Go through a mock voting process

• How to research candidates and ballot measures

• Understanding sample ballots

• Gerrymandering and how district maps affect elections

• Election security and integrity

• Common election myths and misconceptions

• Open Q&A with attendees and guest speakers

Rather than a lecture or debate, these evenings are designed to create a welcoming environment where students can ask questions, engage in respectful conversation, and leave with greater confidence in navigating the election process. Organizations and students from across the political spectrum are welcome, and respectful discussion is expected. We don't expect everyone to agree. We do expect everyone to listen respectfully, ask thoughtful questions, and leave knowing more than when they arrived.
